Pineapple Sage FIRST PLANT I BOUGHT THIS SEASON

INFO FROM THE  HERB GARDENER

Pineapple sage (Salvia elegans) is an underrated herb in the garden.  It doesn't need much attention,  but has a lot to offer.  It will grow up to five feet tall, and its bright leaves are a delicate shade of green all summer long.  It produces slender, trumpet shaped red flowers that attract butterflies and hummingbirds, too.
really DOES smell LIKE pineapple-  Info on growing

Start of The Garden Bones

Sorry were so late with this update .
Been working away on the 1/2 acre garden.
In past posts you can see where we took out tons of old dead or diseased  plants and trees. Now the fun rebuilding is starting to take shape.
Planters are being built in the back and rocks and stones are starting to go in .
Here are the current photos of work in progress.

This is how we look just a few weeks ago.
I hopwe we can set the foundation work and bones of the garden this year.
Of course work is always slow with me.
Health conditions are a bitch to work around.

Bad Pants

Hoping to save the Rose of Sharon
It is one of the better plants in the yard of the new garden.
However even it's pretty badly covered in green fungus and slime.
Many of the trees and plants were badly diseased and had to be removed .
